Celebrity Wedding Planner Takes Couple for $200K

We didn’t think so.
Unfortunately, Steve Choi and Melissa Chin did…and now they’re $200,000 poorer.
You might (or might not if you have a life) recognize David Tutera from such wedding planning reality shows as ‘My Fair Wedding’ and ‘The Party Planner.’ The guy plans elaborate, expensive weddings for a living… and is compensated handsomely. Choi and Chin paid Tutera $200,000, provided him with four round-trip tickets from NYC to Singapore (location of wedding) and had agreed to pay for his hotel room during the wedding festivities. Everything was going great until Tutera didn’t show up for the wedding and allegedly tried to persuade other vendors to not skip out as well.
As you can guess, a lawsuit is on the way.
