Hook Mom Up With a Ming Wang Wedding Wardrobe

Thursday, January 20th, 2011

If your mom is anything like mine was, she’s having a hell of a time deciding what she’ll wear to the wedding, rehearsal dinner, engagement party etc. Apparently women get pretty picky when it comes to dressing up for a big event. Lucky for Mom, we’ve got details on a HUGE contest being put on by Ming Wang (that we just happen to be judging). Win the contest, and your mom will officially be done worrying about wedding attire. Details are below:

The contest launches on the Ming Wang Facebook page on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 and runs through February 7, 2011

Submit an essay (500 words or less) on why your mother or your fiancee’s mother deserves a bridal season wardrobe and day of beauty *Be sure to mention that you heard about the contest on The Man Registry’s GroomsAdvice blog!

One grand prize winner will receive a Ming Wang bridal season wardrobe (includes 4 full looks) for the wedding and events leading up to it (engagement party, bridal shower, etc.) along with a gift certificate to a local salon for a day of beauty before the wedding.

They will also select two runner-up winners that will receive a Ming Wang dress.

The three winners will be selected by public vote and select wedding blogger judges (including us!)

Entrants and voters must be Facebook users and are encouraged to “like” the Ming Wang Facebook page to stay up to date on the contest and news. You can also follow Ming Wang on Twitter.
