Generally, when you think of Navy Seals, you think of brute strength and toughness – that makes this story that much better. Chad Williams, a Navy vet, popped the question to his girlfriend at the LA premiere for ‘When in Rome.’ The bride-to-be, Aubrey O’Boyle, was surprised with a 1-carat round brilliant-cut diamond from Robbins Brothers while on the red carpet.

If you ask us, she really should have toned down her emotions.

They say never to fall in love with a co-worker. I guess technically, this would count. Alicia Keys is now engaged to her producer, Swizz Beatz.  Neither side will officially confirm the engagement, but a friend told UsMagazine that the couple is in Hawaii celebrating the pending nuptial (and the 7-carat rock).

The only downside to all of this is that Beatz is still in the process of finalizing his divorce from Mashonda Beatz.

Jared Fogle is getting married

Everybody’s favorite sandwich pitchman is off the market. Sorry, ladies. Subway spokesman Jared Fogle popped the question to girlfriend Katie McLaughlin over the holidays. Fogle, who recently gained back some of the weight he famously lost, is working hard to get in top top shape for the wedding day. “I’m going to look darn good in those wedding pictures,” Fogle said. As for McLaughlin, I guess she just couldn’t resist his foot-long. ZING!

So he didn’t bring the national title back to Austin… but Colt McCoy looks to be doing just fine with his recently announced engagement to beautiful Rachel Glandorf.

This Colt just got wrangled up, but I'm pretty sure he's not complaining.

McCoy popped the question on the evening of January 11th at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. He brought Glandorf to the lit-up stadium and had the words “Will You Marry Me?” displayed on the scoreboard. While this may scream cheese to some, I personally think it’s a very genuine way for McCoy to end his Texas career.

With the sad story of Chris Henry unfolding, it’s being reported that Henry and his fiance, Loleini Tonga had recently purchased wedding rings and put down a deposit for wedding photography.

The early reports are stating that the Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver was thrown from the back of a pickup truck that Tonga was driving. There were police reports of a domestic dispute earlier in the day.
