Couple Gets Engaged in Giant Wooden Maze

Why not inject some fun into your marriage proposal? Peter Dwyer channeled a little childhood wonder and nostalgia by waiting for girlfriend Erin O’Connor and dropping to one knee near the center of the BIG Maze — a temporary wooden labyrinth designed by BIG-The Bjarke Ingels Group — at Washington, D.C.’s National Building Museum. The couple had visited the museum on their first date.

The toughest part of the plan? Keeping oblivious visitors and kids from interfering with the surprise!
