True Love is Defined by One Song (and one couple)

When I think of true love, happiness and marriage there is one song, and one song only, that comes to mind…

Updated – thanks to Dave over at Temple of Groom for remind us that this song originally appeared on Full House and was performed by Jesse and the Rippers. For the original Zach and Kelly wedding song, click here.

I weep at the beauty of their love.

I don’t mean to blow the lid off of this one but this is Jessie and the Rippers from “Full House” not saved by the bell.

Okay, so remember when Jessie made it big and they started shooting some MTV video where they made him dress up like a Genie popping out of a bottle… he wound up leaving the set of that video because he was angry with the direction it was going….

So then he just made a black and white video of this song…. It’s Uncle Jessie guys…. not Saved by the Bell.

Nice catch. I had originally tried to include the “Zach and Kelly’ wedding song, however it was protected by copyright. Had to settle for the next best thing..

    Just a little proof.

This is Jesse singing to Becky on his wedding day (after he nearly missed the wedding because of a skydiving accident that left him in a tree): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcC5Ztwmir4

and this one is the actual Jesse and the Rippers video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyL4nTyehLI

You have to wake up pretty damn early to stump me with 90′s pop culture trivia.
