I know, you’ve made it this far in life with only knowing how to do the step touch, step touch dance. But, with your wedding coming up, it’s time to turn up the beat a little. There’s simply no way around it, weddings involve dancing. Your bride will want a first dance, and so will your mom.
I’m not saying you have to turn into John Travolta, but taking dance lessons with your fiancée will not only make you feel like less of an idiot at your reception (and all the other wedding receptions you’ll be going to in the future), it can give you and your lady a little break. Find an evening class and turn dance lesson night into a date, no wedding talk allowed. A little exercise, a little dinner, a little dancing, who knows what might follow!
