I love movies and I think I have quite the proposal story.
I have known my wife (as of 9/4/09) for 10 years, since we were in high school. Back then I wrote her a note promising that we would be married before my 28th birthday (10/27/2009)
Now I’ve always loved really big surprises, and nothing has ever given me more joy than to surprise my wife. With this in mind I knew that my proposal would need to be an amazing event.
It was February 2008 when I began planning how I would propose to Corey. I had all kinds of ideas; some good, some bad. One day I remembered something she had mentioned to me in passing;
It was her dream to travel to Vermont and see the fall foliage. I knew that this would be the perfect setting for my proposal. I just needed to figure out a way to get us there without blowing the surprise.
So I got devious.
Every night I would stay late at work designing things in Photoshop that would help me pull off my trick; fake ticketmaster tickets to red sox events, fake plans etc. I put all of these things in a folder for when
I would need them. Then I got together with my boss and explained that I needed help with my cover story. It would require him calling me at home one night and telling me, that due to my great performance at work
I was being rewarded with a trip to Boston to go to the Red Sox Fanfest.
He agreed.
So I got a call from him and he and I played along like I had won, I faked some tears and thanked him over and over. When i got off the phone I told the story to my fiancee, she was convinced. I told her that they had bought us tickets and a rental car
and that the lodging would be taken care off.
After that I spent the next few weeks planning out the rest of our trip and what we would do.
Finally October came, it was time for the trip. We caught a red eye flight to Boston and spent the day doing the historical tours. In the afternoon, I told her that we needed to get to our next stop, so we made our way back to the rental car.
When we got inside and closed the door, she mentioned that she would really love it if the next time we came to Boston we could make a trip up to Vermont to see the fall colors. Hearing this, I lit up inside! I wanted to tell her! But I played it off. Finally I handed her the Mapquest directions to our next stop. She read the page, and when she reached the bottom it said we were going to Quechee, Vermont. She looked up at me and her eyes filled up with tears, she started laughing and crying and thanking me all at once.
On the drive up she napped most of the way and I took in the scenery.
When we arrived in Quechee I drove us to the bed and breakfast we would be staying at and we started unpacking. Once we were settled she crawled into bed while I secretly went to make a phone call.
After finishing my conversation, I came back to our room and she was asleep, I woke her up and explained that we needed to get going again, she said that she wanted to sleep, but I told her that wouldn’t work – she asked why – a big smile spread across my face as I told her we were going on a hot air balloon ride!
About that time our balloonist showed up to drive us to the launch field.
We climbed into his truck and drove a few miles away. After helping him fill the balloon we took off and flew over central Vermont for three hours. Towards the end of the flight I began trying to distract her, asking her to take pictures of views she already had shots of.
Finally she cooperated, as she turned around, I knelt behind her and got the ring out.
I tugged the back of her pea coat and she flipped around.
I smiled at her and asked her to make me the happiest guy by being my wife.
She said yes and we laughed and kissed and out balloonist congratulated us.
We ended the flight with a crash landing – We spent the rest of our week touring Vermont and staying at various inns and b&b – the end of our trip included going to a Red Sox playoff game and checking out Salem!
It was a perfect trip, a perfect trick, and a perfect proposal!

So I had planned an awesome scavenger hunt for my girlfriend on campus where we met, and at the end would be the proposal. I brought her a dress to change into, polish for her nails, heels, the works. She would get changed and then begin her adventure. I had written notes to direct her around to different locations where we used to hang out, and the final spot would be where we met. This would serve as the perfect proposal location where I would surprise her with a final note and the ring. I had borrowed a friend’s video camera and my plan was to try and capture video of her stopping by all the locations and then of course the proposal at the end. My sister and her boyfriend were helping me out with decorations but mainly with keeping an eye on my girlfriend so I didn’t get spotted.
Well, all good plans have a way of coming unraveled. First off, she didn’t put the dress on because she was wearing a sports bra. Didn’t think of that one. So instead of the allotted 20 minutes or so to change and potentially paint her nails, she was off and running (not literally) to the first stop. In the meantime, I am outside of the building waiting for her to come out of one of two exits. Of course she heads towards the rear exit and I am not even keeping an eye on that one. My sister and her boyfriend had been texting me updates on her location but I hadn’t heard from them in a few minutes. Then I happened to glance to the far right of the building to see my sister waving at me. My phone rings and it’s her boyfriend trying to tell me something, when all of a sudden I hear a familiar voice behind me say “Get off your phone”. It’s my girlfriend. Busted! I couldn’t believe that she had avoided being seen and snuck up behind me. Plus, while she was in the building she spotted not one but both of my accomplices. Unbelievable.
So I did what any smart guy would do and told her to give me a few minutes. haha. So she went and waited while I put the finishing decorations on the final spot and then came back so I could get back to business. In the end she loved the whole setup and now we have a great story to tell everyone! Not a huge disaster, but definitely a memorable one.

When I proposed to Melissa I had everything planned out perfectly. We headed up to the Alpen Glow restaurant at the top of Keystone ski resort, on the way my buddy Jaymee called to say that our planned double date couldn’t happen because he was sick. This was planned of course. I looked at Mel and she said she still wanted to go to dinner.
What I didn’t realize about the restaurant was that we had to walk across loose powder snow to get between the lifts and Melissa had open toed shoes on! She was freezing.
We got through dinner, even though the whole time I was extremely nervous and barely ate. The chef brought out dessert which had a ring pop on it. I got down on one knee and proposed.
Then the fun happened.
It was snowing HARD the whole time we were at dinner, so Melissa had to walk back through all the snow to each lift. Then we had to beg one of the Keystone security guys to give us a lift to our car because there were 6″ of snow on the ground at the bottom.
We got back to the lodge, called some friends, and then I started puking. I threw up all night long and could barely move in the morning. Nothing would stay down including water, Advil, nothing. Melissa nursed me to the point where I could get to the car, but it was rough.
It turned out to be nerves and altitude sickness, but that magical night of “after proposal” awesomeness didn’t happen because i was too busy with my head surrounded by porcelain.

I proposed to Tiffany on Christmas day. I slipped her ring into a bag of fake coal. She opened her gift and was not amused to see a lump of coal. I smiled and told her to shake the bag harder. She cried when she saw the ring fall out.
I tried to get on my knees and propose, but she kept crying. I wasn’t able to formally propose until a few days later. (She spent Christmas day showing off her “bling” to her friends and relatives.)
We’ve been married for over a month. Life is good.

replica jewelry is a great issue right now, i mean, most of the people really want an expensive jewelry but they cant really afford it,so there is an alternative for them and its a replica, those that can afford it im sure that they will byt the real one so i dont really think that it will ruin the big companies market.
