Another benefit of the wedding planner is that he or she provides a sounding board for your fiancée. Don’t feel like having a discussion about the difference between Robin’s Egg blue and Tiffany blue? Enter the wedding planner, someone whose job it is to not only listen, but to actually care, about these things. On the other hand, if there is an issue you care about such as the importance of having a place where you and the guys can light a cigar at the reception, the wedding planner can become your advocate with your bride (and also your advocate with your parents or hers).
