Spice Up Your Wedding Night Sex

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

For those Grooms out there who are far from virginal, how do you make your wedding night romp with your new wife feel like the first time?

Why not take a sex hiatus before the big night. As they say, absence makes the heart [and other things] grow fonder. And, the sex break can lead to very creative ways of reducing much needed wedding planning anxiety.

He couldn't do it. Can you?

He couldn’t do it. Can you?

Before starting off on your abstinence retreat, make sure you talk it over with your bride-to-be. I did hear of a groom who took a break pre-wedding without talking to his bride first..she FREAKED thinking he was reconsidering the nuptials. This scenario does not qualify for make-up sex.

Happy Willpower!

4 Honeymoon Surprises to Plan for Your Bride

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

If your fiancee had a hand in planning the honeymoon, get sneaky and set-up a surprise for her anyway!  Contact the hotel or resort to prepare a romantic gesture for your new wife!

Here are some examples of things you can do to steal her heart even more:

Champagne & chocolates by sunset: This would be even MORE romantic if you took a boat ride out and watched the sunset from there enjoying your sweets!

Tickets to a show: Get tickets to the hottest show in town and when she asks about going, tell her they’re sold out…but surprisingly have them delivered to your room.

Hire a local photographer: Do some research and hook up with a local photographer to meet you for an hour to take pictures of the two of you strolling the local scene.

Massages: At the end of a fun filled tourist attraction day, hire a masseuse to come to the room and give the both of you massages

However you choose to spice up the honeymoon with a thoughtful gesture or two…being together and enjoying the new journey into married life is the best gift of all!

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

Came across this hidden gem on YouTube. Why doesn’t this thing have 3 million views yet?

Enjoy!

A few things that stick out after viewing:

  1. The guy walked up to the Rocky theme. Classic! Nothing like stealing the glory.
  2. This guy hasn’t been drinking cocktails, he’s been doing shots. Hey, at least he admitted it.
  3. 2:38 – F Bomb. There it is.
  4. 3:46 “Bla bla bla”

There is now an open offer for this guy to write a guest entry for us with a guide to destroying the Best Man toast. Somebody make this happen!

Cheers!

Give Your Groomsmen the Gift of DAS BOOT!

Monday, April 13th, 2009

Here at GroomsAdvice, we firmly believe that you can never have too much beer. If your groomsmen also subscribe to this belief, we’ve got the perfect groomsman gift for them… DAS BOOT

2 Liter Beer Boot

2 Liter Beer Boot – Das Boot!

Inspired by Beerfest, these glass beer boots are designed for serious drinkers only. The key to drinking from a beer boot is to point the toe sideways. While you’re drinking from the boot, an air bubble will form near the toe. To avoid spilling beer all over yourself, this air bubble must be handled with utmost caution. As the air bubble approaches the toe, slowly turn the boot so the toe points horizontally either way. This should keep you dry and keep the beer where it needs to be – in your mouth!

Sound like a challenge? Grab a few for your groomsmen and see for yourself.. We offer the traditional 2-liter glass beer boot, seen above, as well  as 1/2 and 1 liter sizes.
